Go ON 0.2.0 Patch Notes


Felt I had a little time than usual, so I decided to go about a few quality of life changes. It's not revolutionary or anything, but hey that's what y'all want.

Skeleton:

  • Added Attack Mechanic:
    • Slows down significantly when attacking.
    • Has a crit formula, 25% chance on head hit.
    • Damage applies at the blade, dealing 3 on normal occasion and 5 on crit. Giant Skellies deal 5 on normal and insta-kill on crit.
  • Added additional bounty on Giant Skellies.
  • Added capping on enemies to prevent being overwhelmed, maxing at 20.
  • Speed (base): 100 ➤ 80
  • Speed (giant): 100 ➤ 50
  • Spawn time (base): 1 ➤ 1.1
  •  Decreased Hitbox

Player:

  • Speed: 200 ➤ 180
  • Health: 10 ➤ 20
  • Vision: 1 ➤ 0.5
  • Jump kill threshold significantly decreased
  • Longer sword range

Game:

  • Data saved remotely, needs internet connection
  • FPS stabilized
  • Better optimization for older devices
  • Storage space significantly increased

Implemented but not fully deployed:

  • Music
  • Art
  • Leaderboards
  • Multiplayer

Future plans:

  • Story, progression and additional content
