Go ON 0.2.6 Quick Patch Notes


So most of the core gameplay mechanics are set. Only need a little more time for having items, bosses and a new functional map.

Better late than never. Happy New Year everyone!

EDIT: Came back to tweak a few bugs.

Bat:

  • Added a new mob "Bat"
  • Introduced to further discourage camping
  • Deals miniscule damage, dies on impact
  • Speed: 200
  • Health: 10

Skeleton:

  • Health: 1 ➤ 100
  • Damage (contact - base):1 ➤ 2 5
  • Damage (contact - giant): 3 ➤ 5 10
  • Damage (stomp - base): 5 ➤ 8
  • Damage(stomp - giant): 10  ➤ 25
  • Damage (weapon): 5 ➤ 8-15
  • Damage (weapon on crit): 10 ➤ 10-20

Ghost:

  • Health: 1 ➤ 50
  • Damage (contact): 1 ➤ 2

Player:

  • Health: 20 ➤ 100
  • Vision: 0.5 ➤ 0.6
  • Added "Whirl" skill
  • Damage: 1 based on item equipped
  • Inventory: only for display, stats apply
    • Added Basic Iron Sword
      • Damage: 50 - 99
    • Added Slime Potion
      • Does nothing

Game:

  • Completely reworked the combat system, added HP to mobs
    • added player Forgiveness time: 0.3
  • Added Legacy Buttons selection on start menu
  • Added combat damage indicators
    • Red for player damage received, bigger if crit
    • White for player damage given, gold if crit
